ANN ARBOR –The North Muskegon girls tennis team found themselves in a three-way tie for fourth place alongside Elk Rapids and Jackson Lumen in the Division 4 state finals on Saturday.
The Norse wrapped up the day with 14 points.
Three players advanced through to the semifinals but fell short against their opponents.
The #3 seeded Gabby Gaston represented the Norse at No. 2 singles. The #5 seeded tandem of Ella Tarrant and Anna Toebe advanced to the semifinals at No. 2 doubles.
Noa Bowen found wins in the first two rounds but fell in the quarterfinals at No. 1 singles.
