MUSKEGON – The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team had a rough day at home on Tuesday evening.

The Crusaders fell to Black River (19-25, 25-23, 15-7) and Holton (25-13, 19-25, 15-8) in a tri-match.

Natalie Rich led for the Crusaders with eight digs, six aces and a block.

Lindsay Ladd added seven kills, five aces and two blocks, while Clare LaVigne had 22 assists, 12 digs and eight kills.

Ella Muskovin scored five aces and Elaina LaGuire made 10 digs.

Clare Carlton and Daija Hill each contributed three kills.

Muskegon Catholic (2-5) will host Muskegon on Tuesday (Sept. 6).
