Lady Turtles fall to Hudsonville Unity Christian, 108-80

HUDSONVILLE –The Greater Muskegon Co-op swim and dive team fell to Hudsonville Unity Christian in their season opener on Tuesday.

The Lady Turtles lost by a score of 108-80.

Despite the loss, the Turtles swam to 11 personal records.

Delaney Buckner won in the 200IM (2:17.92) and 100 Back (1:01.03). She was also a part of the first-place 200 medley relay team (2:01.33) including Naomi Huttenga, Robyn Hunt and Sydney Sytsema.

Robyn Hunt took first place in the 500 free (5:54.20), while Susi Van Baale won in the 100 breast (1:18.84).

The Turtles (0-1) host Caledonia on Tuesday.
