ZEELAND – The Montague volleyball team fell short at Zeeland East in a quad along with Spring Lake and Western Michigan Christian on Monday evening.
The Wildcats played extremely close sets, but finished the night with a record of 1-2.
Montague’s win came from a tight match against Zeeland East (25-21, 27-25).
The losses came at the hands of WMC (15-25, 23-25) and Spring Lake (21-25, 25-21, 13-15).
Jacy Arigotti scored five aces, while Alissa Wynn and Britta Johnson had three aces apiece.
Jaelyn Sundberg and Laura Borras each added a pair of aces. Maizie Collins also contributed with an ace of her own.
Montague will be back to action on Friday when they visit Grand Haven.
