The North Muskegon volleyball team made it to the semi-final round of the WMVOA invite in Grand Rapids on Friday before losing to Allendale (17-25, 23-35) to finish 1-1-3.

The Norse played to three draws in pool play against Pewamo Westphalia (16-25, 25-23), West Ottawa (25-23, 24-26) and Cedar Springs (21-25, 25-11).

The team found a win in the silver bracket quarterfinal to advance against Grand Rapids Covenant Christian (25-9, 25-16).

Natalie Pannucci led the way for the Norse with 42 kills, 34 digs and five aces. Allie Jensen did her part with 23 kills and five aces, while Fia Lindsay added 19 kills and made four blocks.

Sami Baker racked up 78 assists with 26 digs and Joslynne Bogner had 12 kills and three assists.

Jolle Fellows and Addie Falkowski also added to the production with 29 digs and four aces respectively.

North Muskegon will see action again on Thursday at East Kentwood.
