MUSKEGON –The Oakridge volleyball team battled to take down Muskegon Catholic Central in five sets on Tuesday evening.

The Eagles went 3-2 with set scores of 25-19, 16-25, 25-16, 23-25 and 15-5.

The Eagles’ offense produced 15 aces.

Gracie Willea and Haley Seewald combined for 40 assists.

Lily Blackburn led the attack with 12 kills, while Kaelinn Jozsa and Madison Babinec added 10 and seven kills, respectively.

Oakridge will next travel to Spring Lake on Sept. 10.
