MONTAGUE –The Montague volleyball team took down Whitehall in four sets on Tuesday evening.

The Wildcats topped the Vikings with set scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-19 and 25-23.

Laura Borras led for the Wildcats with 18 kills, seven digs and two aces. 

Maizie Collins added 13 digs and an ace, while Jordan Netcott made eight digs and an ace. Anastasia Trevino helped the offense with 11 kills.

Jaelyn Sundberg threw in 41 assists with eight digs and Alissa Wynn made 20 digs and an ace.

Kayla Mulder and Arianna Black led offensively for the Vikings with 15 kills and 12 kills respectively. Bella Fogus added seven aces.

Also for the Vikings, Sydney Shepherd tallied 40 assists and Chase Baker had 30 digs.

Montague (12-14, 3-0) will play host to Spring Lake on Saturday.

Whitehall (8-15-4, 1-1) will be at home against Manistee on Tuesday (Sept. 27).
