NEWAYGO –The Kent City volleyball team got by Newaygo for a win on Tuesday night.

The Eagles won all three sets by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-18.

Lexie Bowers led the way for Kent City with 20 digs, 12 kills and three aces.

Jacee Hoffman had 31 assists and scored two aces, while Kaden Perkins and Susan Joy-Ran added an ace apiece.

Madelyn Geers threw in 11 kills and made two blocks.

Kent City (10-4-1, 2-0) will be at home against Morley Stanwood on Tuesday (Sept. 13th).

Newaygo will hit the road to visit Montague on Thursday.
