WYOMING –The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team fell short in a hard loss against Tri Unity Christian on Thursday evening.

The Eagles lost in five sets (25-22, 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 9-15).

Ella Dykman led the way with 23 digs, 14 kills, four aces and two blocks.

Marissa Tyler added 28 assists, five digs and two aces, while Michayla Assaad had four digs, four kills and an ace.

Kamea Sutherland also got in on the action with 12 digs and eight kills.

Fruitport Calvary Christian (1-5, 0-2) will play host to Hudsonville Libertas Christian on Monday.
