CUSTER — Mason County Eastern’s girls volleyball team lost a tough Western Michigan D League match at home to Mesick in three sets, 10-25, 23-25 and 16-25 Tuesday night.
The Cardinals were led by Deanna Codman, who finished the night with 18 attacks, seven digs and one service ace.
Janessa Alvesteffer contributed eight attacks, three digs, two kills, two aces, one block and one tip.
Lilly Basden added one tip, one attack and three digs. Taylor Campbell had four aces, two attacks and two digs.
Mackenzie Wright had three attacks and two digs. Adriana Bosley had two attacks, three digs and one attack. Caterina Tomba had one ace, one attack and one dig.
The Cardinals travel to Baldwin for another WMD match on Thursday night.
