FREMONT –The Fremont boys soccer team fell to the Yellow Jackets of Greenville on Thursday evening.

The Packers lost by a score of 5-2.

Evan Roosnick opened the scoring with a goal for Fremont. The Yellow Jackets fired back with two goals to steal the lead.

Justin Guanga added the Packers’ last goal before Greenville pulled ahead.

The Packers were behind 3-2 at the half and couldn’t recover.

Goalkeeper Ben Mellema made seven saves.

Fremont (4-9-1) will travel to Ludington on Monday for West Michigan Conference action.
