Gieske, Rebone score two goals each as Fruitport cruises past Oakridge

MUSKEGON –The Fruitport boys soccer team routed Oakridge in non-league play on Thursday evening.

The Trojans blanked the Eagles by a score of 7-0.

Sean Gieske and Jackson Rebone led the attack with a pair of goals apiece.

Taylen Acocks, Isaac Vandermolen and Brady Brown each rounded out the scoring with a single goal.

Goalkeepers Justin Laus and Logan Werschem combined for the shutout with a save apiece. 

Fruitport (8-6-2, 3-3-1) will be at home to open the first round of the OK Conference-Blue tournament on Monday against Allendale.

Oakridge (10-6-1, 5-8) will see West Michigan Conference action at Manistee on Monday.
