GRAND RAPIDS–The Hart boys and girls’ cross country teams swept the Cougar Falcon Invite on Saturday.

The event was at the Eagles Nest (Gainey Park) at Calvin University.

In the Falcon Division, the Hart boys finished with a score of 48 points.

Hart senior Clayton Ackley took top individual honors with a time of 16:01.7

Other top finishers for Hart included senior Wyatt Dean, who came in fourth place with a time of 16:28.4. Senior Seth Ackley finished in seventh with a time of 16:53.9, while sophomore Max Stitt came in 19th at 17:25.3 and senior Caleb Bitely finished 23rd with a time of 17:39.6.

In the girls’ division, Hart finished with a total of 57 points.

Taking top individual honors was Hart sophomore Jessica Jazwinski with a time of 17:54.1

Other top finishers for Hart included junior Alyson Enns, who finished in second place with a time of 18:00.9. Sophomore Lexie Beth Nienhuis came in 14th place with a time of 20:14.6. Senior Savanna Owens came in 26th place at 21:27.2 and Abigail Pretty finished in 28th place with a 21:36.9.

In the boys’ Eagle Division, Mona Shores came in seventh place with 189 points.

Mona Shores’ senior Caleb Branch took top honors with a time of 15:51.2.

Reeths-Puffer junior Jaxon Allen came in 20th place with a time of 17:03.4 and his sophomore teammate Kye Grant finished 29th with a time of 17:23.9.

In the girls’ division, Mona Shores came in fifth place with 114 while Reeths-Puffer finished in ninth with 263 points.

Top individual local runners included Mona Shores’ senior Robyn Hunt, who finished in eighth place with a time of 20:00.4. Her teammates senior Destiny Douglas and senior Cecilia Conrad finished in 17th and 19th, respectively.

Top runners for Reeths-Puffer were senior Eva Shinabery, who finished in 49th place and sophomore Adrienne Fluette in 54th place.
