Jaramillo, Sutton tally hat tricks as Kent City shuts out Tri-County

KENT CITY–The Kent City soccer team defeated the Vikings of Tri County on Wednesday in an 8-0 mercy-rule victory. 

The Eagles scored five goals in the first 10 minutes of the game and ended the game shortly after halftime with their eighth goal. 

Seniors Jaret Jaramillo and Dylan Sutton had three goals each for Kent City. Sutton also had an assist and Jaramillo had two. Also scoring for the Eagles was Noel Coronado and Ben Garcia. Coronado also added an assist.

Junior Alfredo Bolanos-Colin had three assists. 

Kent City goalkeeper Willie Duran registered his fifth shutout of the season.

Kent City improved to 8-1-1 and 3-1 in conference play. The Eagles are next in action Sept. 21 against Lakeview.
