Jayhawks score three goals in 2nd half and get by Kellogg Community College

MUSKEGON –The No. 6 ranked Muskegon Community College womens soccer team got by Kellogg Community College on Wednesday.

The Jayhawks shut out Kellogg by a score of 3-0.

Both sides were scoreless at halftime, but the Jayhawks found their rhythm in the second half.

Alexa Musk, Iris Herald and Lainey Canan each netted a goal.

Strong play at mid-field by Ellie Maggini and Sarah Zielinski helped solidify the win.

MCC (3-1) will play host to Lakeland Community College on Saturday.
