HART — North Muskegon defeated Hart in three sets 25-17, 25-8, 25-18 in a West Michigan Conference Rivers girls volleyball match at Hart Tuesday night.

Leaders for the Vikings included Fia Lindsay with 11 kills and two aces. Allie Jensen finished the match with 10 kills, two aces and two blocks.

Natalie Pannucci added seven kills. Joslynne Bogner had six kills. Sami Baker had 29 assists, four aces and 10 digs. Jolie Fellows contributed nine digs and Jaley Schultz had six digs.

The Pirates fought some tough mental errors to rally from an 8-18 deficit in the third set before falling.

Hart’s leaders included Mya Chickering with nine kills and one dig. Mariana VanAgtmael was 4-for-4 serving with one ace and added four digs.

Addi Hovey had a big night hitting with eight kills and she also had two digs. Gabby Schmieding had five assists and one dig. Rayah Helenhouse had one kill and one dig.

Grace Gamble was 7-of-7 serving, had one assist and one dig. Makayla Rockwell was 6-of-6 serving, had five assists and two digs. Laura Bitely had two digs.

North Muskegon improved its record to 8-6-3 overall and 2-0 in the conference. The Norsemen don’t play again until Tuesday when they host Holton in another conference match.

The Pirates are now 7-2 overall and 0-1 in the conference and travel to Onekama for an invitational on Saturday.
