WHITEHALL –The North Muskegon volleyball team won the day with a 2-0 finish in a tri-match against Whitehall and Newaygo on Monday evening.

The Norse defeated Newaygo in two sets (25-20, 25-12) and Whitehall in three sets (13-25, 25-20, 15-11).

Natalie Pannucci posted 19 digs, 15 kills and six blocks for the Norse, while Joslynne Bogner threw in 10 kills, five blocks and four aces.

Fia Lindsay added nine kills with four blocks and Sami Baker had 48 assists, 14 digs and two blocks.

Jaley Schultz had 23 digs and Allie Jensen contributed with 13 kills.

Whitehall wrapped up the action with a win against Newaygo (25-9, 25-18) and a tough loss to North Muskegon.

Kayla Mulder led the way for the Vikings with 10 kills, eight aces and seven blocks.

Caydence King made 10 kills and seven blocks, while Sydney Shepherd and Chase Baker had 55 assists and 42 digs respectively.

Arianna Black and Bella Fogus also contributed with 10 kills apiece.

North Muskegon (7-6-3) will travel to Hart on Tuesday.

Whitehall (7-12-4) is set to visit Montague next Tuesday (Sept. 20).

Newaygo will travel to Grant on Wednesday, September 13th to take on the Tigers.
