Reeths-Puffer goes 1-3 at volleyball invite on Saturday

CALEDONIA –The Reeths-Puffer volleyball team went 1-3 at the Macayla Kohn Invite on Saturday held in Caledonia.

The Rockets found their lone win against Coldwater (25-11, 25-20) and fell to South Christian (17-25, 16-25), Forest Hills Eastern (21-25, 16-25) and Byron Center (17-25, 22-25).

Madisyn Dykema posted 31 kills, three digs and an ace, while Lauren Nelson added eight digs, six aces and four kills. Megan Barnes threw in 13 digs and three aces.

Alissa Klopp and Sophia Hekkema each contributed eight kills apiece.

Reeths-Puffer (5-6-2) will play host to Grand Rapids Union in league action on Tuesday.
