ZEELAND –The Reeths-Puffer boys soccer team fell short against Zeeland West in OK Conference-Green play on Thursday evening.

The Rockets fell by a score of 3-2.

The Rockets were down early 2-0 but rallied to tie things up before Zeeland West netted the game-winner with 19 minutes left to play.

Despite the loss, Liam Smith continued building up his goals with his 15th of the season. Owen Ritsema set up the goal with an assist.

Kyler Brainard scored a goal off of an assist from Smith.

Goalkeeper Gavin Wright made four saves for the Rockets.

Reeths-Puffer (4-4-2, 2-2-1) will travel to Fruitport on Saturday.
