Spring Lake girls take top spot at OK Blue Jamboree

SPRING LAKE—The Spring Lake Lakers girls cross country team took top team honors on Wednesday afternoon at the OK Blue Jamboree held in Spring Lake at Rycenga Park.

Spring Lake finished with a team score of 27. They were followed by Hudsonville Unity Christian (55), Allendale (89), Grand Rapids West Catholic (113), Holland Christian (135, Fruitport (154), Coopersville (175) and Hamilton (216).

Spring Lake senior Lily Parker took top individual honors with a finishing time of 19:36.91.

Other top ten finishers for the Lakers included Alexis Kotkowicz (4^th), Lexie Ruffing (5^th), Bea Reeser (8^th) and Meghan Guczwa (9^th).

Top finishers for Fruitport included Valerie Pollock (13^th) and Tatum Dykstra (18^th).

In the boys division Holland Christian took the top spot with a team total of 52 points while Spring Lake finished in fourth place with a team score of 68 and they were followed by Fruitport with 127 points.

Top finishers for Spring Lake included Ethan Grevengoed (4^th), Lucas Ruffing (8^th) and Parker Woodwyk.

Top finishers for Fruitport included Vincent Pollock (13^th), Johnathon McMullin (21^st) and Levi Bol (28^th).
