The Warriors used a 2-1 first-half lead to defeat Shelby.

Charlie Buursma gave WMC a 1-0 lead six minutes into the contest and Joey Eastway put the Warriors up 2-0 after he found himself unmarked for an open shot near the 18 yardline.

Shelby’s Carson Claeys netted a breakaway just before halftime to put his Tiger squad back into the game.

Lucas Dick closed the door for WMC with nearly 11 minutes left in the game on the third goal for the Warriors and the win.

Ashton Leffering lifted WMC in the 1-1 tie against the Squires. Leffring turned a bouncing ball into a right footed volley that found the back of the net.

WMC trailed the Squires 1-0 at halftime after it let in a goal form Calvin Christian’s Yura Rozendal.
