HOLTON—Jace Silverthorn’s strong rushing performance was capped off by four touchdowns on 16 carries for 168 yards in a 60-0 White Cloud win over Holton.

Landyn McGowen had a strong offensive showing with eight rushes for 97 yards and three touchdowns.

Mason Ruether threw for 65 yards and two touchdowns on the evening, one to Jason Ruether and the other to leading receiver Nate Compeau with two receptions for 49 yards and the score.

Silverthorn led the way defensively as well for the Indians with 12 tackles and one and a half sacks.

Lloyd Sebright-Johnsons was dominant defensively with 10 tackles, two and a half sacks and a forced fumble. Xander Traynor added eight tackles and a fumble recovery. Carlos Brown had six tackles and partnered on a sack. Jason Ruether added four tackles, and Noah Robinson had a fumble recovery.

White Cloud (3-2) will host Muskegon Heights next Friday while Holton (0-5) will travel to Shelby for their next WMC matchup.
