FREMONT –The Whitehall volleyball team took down Fremont in four sets on Tuesday evening.

The Vikings earned the West Michigan Conference victory by set scores of 25-18, 14-25, 25-17 and 25-11.

Chase Baker led for the Vikings with 15 digs and three aces, followed by Sydney Shepherd with 40 assists and three aces.

Brianna Hamann and Kayla Mulder each chipped in 10 kills apiece.

The Packers’ Carle Bruggema accumulated 28 assists, 10 kills and eight digs. Kendall Barnhart and Sage Vandenberg made eight kills each.

Marcy Tanner added to the Packers’ offensive production with two aces.

Whitehall (11-14-5, 3-1) is set to play host to the Cardinals of Orchard View on Tuesday in league action.

Fremont (17-16-2, 2-2) will travel to Hopkins to compete in the Switek Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.
