Beal City runs over White Cloud, 63-16, in playoff opener

BEAL CITY—The highly ranked Beal City Aggies cruised past the White Cloud Indians on Friday evening.

The Aggies dispatched the Indians, 63-16, in a Division 8 playoff game.

Beal City (10-0) will host Fowler next weekend in the second round.

Offensively, White Cloud quarterback Mason Ruether passed for 219 yards and two touchdowns. Jace Silverthorn had 83 receiving yards, two touchdowns and 86 yards on kick returns. Nate Compeau had 112 receiving yards and Mason Cruzan had 51 receiving yards.

Defensively, Silverthorn had six tackles, Mason Ruether had five, Alex Cruzan had four, Lloyd Sebright-Johnson and Landyn McGowen each had two.

The Indians ended the season 6-4.
