BIG RAPIDS–The Grant Tigers defense didn’t have any answers for the explosive Big Rapids Cardinals offense on Friday evening.

The Tigers dropped a 47-0 decision in Big Rapids homecoming game.

Big Rapids got off to a slow start with just a 25-yard field goal in the first quarter.

The Cardinals found the endzone for three second-quarter touchdowns and took a commanding 26-0 halftime lead.

Big Rapids went on to score one touchdown in the third quarter and tacked on two more fourth-quarter touchdowns.

Big Rapids racked up more than 500 yards of total offense.

With the loss, Grant saw its record drop to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in the CSAA-Gold.

The Tigers will be back in action next Friday when they host Central Montcalm.
