Dykman, Tyler lead Fruitport Calvary Christian past Wyoming Lee in four sets

WYOMING – The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team claimed an Alliance League victory over Wyoming Lee on Thursday evening.

The Eagles put away Lee in four sets (25-19, 25-12, 24-26, 25-16).

Ella Dykman led the way with 16 kills, 10 digs and two aces, while Marissa Tyler had 25 assists, eight digs and four aces.

Kara Baas added four aces, four digs and three kills. Kamea Sutherland got five digs, three aces and three kills.

Also, Sarah Deuby contributed seven digs, three aces and two kills.

Calvary Christian (3-8, 1-4) will see more conference action when they travel to Muskegon Catholic Central on Tuesday.
