GRAND RAPIDS–The Grand Haven boys cross country team continued their winning ways on Thursday afternoon as they took the top spot at the OK Red Conference Meet.

The race was run at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids.

The Bucs placed five runners in the top 20 and finished with 61 points. They were followed by Jenison with 73 points and East Kentwood with 74 points.

Junior Seth Norder, the No. 1 ranked runner in Division 1, took top honors with a time of 15:41.62.

Other top runners for Grand Haven included sophomore Ben Held (11th), senior Logan Vining (14th), sophomore Carson Berko (17th) and freshman Aron Gal (18th).

In the girls’ division, Grand Haven came in second place with 66 points The Bucs had five runners in the top 20. Holland West Ottawa took the top spot with 35 points and Jenison was third 69 points.

The Bucs were led by sophomore Valerie Beeck, who finished in fourth place at 18:19.50.

Other top runners for Grand Haven included sophomore Addison Smith (10th), Payton Hosley (16th), Cianah Budnik-Ramos (17th) and Abi Albright (19th).
