JENISON –The Grand Haven volleyball team wrapped up the regular season with a 1-1 split in a tri-match on Wednesday evening.
The Bucs battled back-and-forth with Jenison and came away with the victory in five sets, 27-29, 25-13, 22-25, 25-21, 15-13.
The loss came against Hudsonville, which won 25-10, 25-13, 25-24.
Izzy Whittaker led with 27 kills and four blocks, while Kam Burbridge had 22 kills and six blocks.
Taylor Smaka and Mia Swierbut added 45 and 26 digs, respectively. Also, Sara Weber had 58 assists and 13 digs.
Grand Haven (27-22) will open up the Division 1 district tournament against Holland on Wednesday at West Ottawa.
