HART–The Hart Pirates boys and girls’ cross country teams continued their winning ways by capturing the West Michigan Conference Rivers Jamboree on Tuesday.

The meet was run at Hart High School.

In the girls’ division, Hart claimed seven of the top ten individual spots to finish with 18 points.

Following Hart was Mason County Central and Shelby, which both finished with 70 points and Ravenna came in third place with 84 points.

Hart sophomore Jessica Jazwinski crossed the finish line with another first-place finish with a time of 17:47.07. She was followed by Hart junior Alyson Enns in 18:19.50. Shelby senior Emma Soelberg finished in third place with a time of 20:30.08.

Other top ten runners included Lexie Beth Nienhuis (Hart), Savanna Owens (Hart), Kenai Kohx (Hart), Carolyn Bennett (North Muskegon), Abigail Pretty (Hart), Lauren Pretty (Hart) and Adison Thorne (Mason County Central).

Senior Autumn Morton was the top runner for Ravenna in 12th place.

In the boys’ division, Hart took the top four spots and finished with 21 points.

Following the Pirates were North Muskegon (68), Shelby (88), Ravenna (95), Mason County Central (106) and Hesperia (148).

Finishing in the top four spots for Hart were senior Clayton Ackley (16:57.59), senior Seth Ackley (17:09.11), senior Wyatt Dean (17:17.43) and sophomore Max Stitt (17:41.46).

Other top ten runners included Evan Atkinson-Miller (North Muskegon), Tanner Soelberg (Shelby), Jude Meldrum-Roy (North Muskegon), Matthew Anton (Ravenna), Gavin Shirey (Mason County Central) and Iziquiel Picon (Shelby).

The top runner for Hesperia was junior Stephen Priese in 25th place.
