Kent City sweeps White Cloud in CSAA Gold volleyball action

KENT CITY–The Kent City volleyball team hosted the Indians of White Cloud in a CSAA Gold matchup on Monday.

The Eagles beat the Indians in three sets, 25-16, 25-17, and 25-17. 

Eagles Lexie Bowers and Maddie Geers proved why they were chosen as LSJ’s volleyball players of the month- Geers tallied 8 kills, 2 blocks, and 15 digs while Bowers added 9 kills and 13 digs.

Kent City’s Susan-Joy Rau contributed four aces and two blocks. 

Kent City advanced to 20-4-2 with the win and remained undefeated in the conference with a 7-0 record. They are next in action in the Dig Pink Tournament this Saturday. 

White Cloud returns home this Thursday for a match against Holt.
