MUSKEGON –The Muskegon Catholic Central volleyball team took down Fruitport Calvary Christian on Tuesday evening in four sets.

The Crusaders snagged the victory with scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-23.

Claire LaVigne accumulated 19 digs, 17 assists, six aces and three kills, while Natalie Rich added five aces and five kills.

Aubrey Shepherd and Claire Carlton also chipped in with to the seven aces and eight kills, respectively.

Calvary Christian’s Marissa Tyler had 27 assists, nine digs and four aces. Kamea Sutherland had seven kills, five digs and four aces.

Michayla Assaad also contributed with 12 digs, three kills and an ace.

Muskegon Catholic (7-10, 3-2) hosts Tri-Unity Christian on Thursday.

Fruitport Calvary Christian (3-9, 1-5) will be at home on Thursday for an Alliance League matchup against Potters House.
