ALLENDALE–Muskegon Catholic Central is sending four runners to the Division 4 cross country state finals on Saturday, Nov. 5.

Muskegon Catholic finished in fourth place in the boys’ team competition at the Division 4 regionals on Saturday.

The Crusaders finished with 121 points in the meet at Allendale.

Individual qualifiers for the MCC included juniors Jacob Lyonnais, who finished in 15th place overall and junior Owen Lyonnais, who came in 18th place.

In the girls’ division, Muskegon Catholic finished in sixth place with 132 points.

Local individual qualifiers for the state finals included Fruitport Calvary Christian sophomore Ava Wilson, who finished in eighth place while MCC senior Cally Camara came in 10th place. Her senior teammate, Kassidy Kleinheksel, finished in 13th place and Holton senior Vanessa Peltoniemi also qualified for the state finals with a 15th-place finish.

The Division 4 state finals meet will be at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.
