MUSKEGON–Muskegon scored early and often against Wyoming and cruised to a 62-0 victory at Hackley Stadium on Friday night.
 
The Big Reds (5-2) used big offensive plays and a stingy defense to take a 49-0 lead into halftime. 
 
The second half was played with a running clock. The Big Reds added a touchdown in each of the final two quarters.
 
Defensively, the Big Reds allowed the Wolves 29 total yards. 
 
Muskegon’s offense gained 491 yards on the night. 
 
M’Khi Guy led Muskegon in their big first half scoring output with 156 total yards and four rushing touchdowns. Destin Piggee finished with 107 yards rushing and touchdown and Jakob Price had 88 yards rushing and a score. 
 
Michael Piggee Jr. had one carry for a 38-yard touchdown and Julian Neely connected with Jayvon Gilbert for a 16-yard touchdown reception to finish off the second-half scoring. 
 
Muskegon’s defense was led by Kingston Blackmon with six tackles. Keon Drummer, Adrian Rankin Jr. and Terrance Davis Jr. each had five tackles. CJ Ivy had a fumble return for a 27-yard touchdown. 
 
The Big Reds will be idle next week due to the cancellation of Holland’s football season, but they will be back in action at home when they face crosstown rival Mona Shores, Friday Oct. 21.
