NORTH MUSKEGON – The North Muskegon boys soccer team wrapped up their regular season with a strong win over Montague on Wednesday evening.

The Norse blanked the Wildcats 3-0 in a West Michigan Conference match.

Gabe Lenius led the offense with a goal and an assist, while Brandon Winter and Ben Hoffer scored a goal apiece. Carter Muzzy and Jack Bahorski each had an assist for the Norse.

Goalkeepers Leighton Hunt and Chase Zizak posted the shutout with a combined five saves.

North Muskegon (7-10-3, 5-3-2) will kick off the district tournament as they host Muskegon Catholic on Wednesday (Oct. 12).

Montague (6-12-2, 3-6-1) hosts Fruitport Calvary on Monday in its final regular-season game.
