MUSKEGON –The Oakridge volleyball team battled against Fremont for a hard-earned win on Tuesday evening.

Fremont kept it tight, but Oakridge won in four sets (25-18, 23-25, 26-24, 30-29).

Haley Seewald led the Eagles with six kills and five aces, while Madison Babinec had 12 kills.

Kylee and Gracie Willea threw in six and three aces, respectively.

Kaelinn Jozsa also contributed seven kills.

Fremont’s Baylah Parker made 25 digs and scored four aces, while Kendall Barnhart had seven kills and three aces.

Sage Vandenberg added 13 kills to the offense and Kenzie Gugins had 15 digs defensively.

Oakridge will travel to Fremont on Saturday for the West Michigan Conference Tournament.
