WHITE CLOUD–The White Cloud Indians beat the Morley-Stanwood Mohawks 30-8 in their homecoming game on Friday evening.

The Indians improved to 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the Central State Activites Association-Silver.

Offensively, Mason Ruether and Jace Silverthorn both tossed touchdown passes to Nate Compeau.

Landyn McGowen had a touchdown with Jace Silverthorn scoring two touchdowns and amassing 279 all-purpose yards; 75 from kick return, 69 passing, and 104 rushing.

Defensively, Carlos Brown led White Cloud with 16 tackles. Jace Silverthorn had 13 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Lloyd Seebright-Johnson had 10 tackles. Mason Ruether had an interception and Nate Compeau had a pair of interceptions.

White Cloud travels to Lakeview this Friday for a CSAA-Silver battle.
