WHITEHALL –The Whitehall boys soccer team claimed a West Michigan Conference win over Fremont on Monday evening.

The Vikings topped the Packers by a score of 4-1.

Corbin Vanderstelt led the way for the Vikings with a pair of goals. 

Also, Jack Houtteman and Kyler Frees added a goal apiece.

John Vissia netted the Packers’ lone score off of an assist from Tee Ward.

The Vikings’ Evan Jud had five saves in the net, while Caleb Vissia made eight saves for the Packers.

Whitehall (6-6-1, 5-3-1) is set to travel to Ravenna for more league play on Wednesday.

Fremont (4-12-1, 1-8) will also see more conference play on Wednesday as they host Manistee.
