Grand Haven falls to Forest Hills Northern in regional semifinal action in three sets

KALAMAZOO – The Grand Haven volleyball team fell short in the Division 1 regional semifinal round against Forest Hills Northern on Tuesday evening.

The Bucs battled, but couldn’t overcome Forest Hills and lost in three sets, (25-13, 25-18, 25-18).

Izzy Whittaker led the offense with eight kills, while Eden Smith and Kam Burbridge had seven kills and five kills, respectively.

Taylor Smaka added 10 digs and Sara Weber had 24 assists and seven digs.

Grand Haven wrapped up the season with a record of 29-23.
