MUSKEGON–The host Muskegon Community College Jayhawks men’s basketball team rushed out to a 39-27 halftime lead on Wednesday evening over the Grace Christian University JV team en route to a 94-72 win.

The Jayhawks outscored the Tigers 46-20 in the paint and their largest lead of the evening was 26 points. MCC ended the game on a 24-17 run.

A trio of Jayhawks had a game high 21 points to lead MCC including guard Vern Nash (Muskegon), guard Jarvin Graham (Perspective Joslin Campus) and guard Jadakiss Lewis (Kalamazoo).

Other contributors for the Jayhawks included Jacob May (Ravenna), who scored five points, grabbed eight rebounds and had one block while Jacob Mueller (Charlevoix) chipped in six points, four rebounds and two assists. Logan Manciu (Fruitport)  had  seven points and 10 rebounds.

The Jayhawks (4-1) return to action on Wednesday, Nov. 30 when they host Kalamazoo Community College at 7:30 p.m.
