HOLTON–Oakridge overcame a halftime deficit on Tuesday night and defeated Holton 48-28 on Tuesday night.

Holton led 13-12 at the half, but were outscored by a wide margin the second half.

Oakridge shut out Holton in the first quarter, 6-0, before the Red Devils surged in the second quarter to take the halftime lead. The Eagles poured it on in the second half and led 25-17 after three quarters.

Destyni Lane led Oakridge with 18 points, eight steals, six rebounds and four assists. Anna Lundquist added 11 points, 13 rebounds, seven steals and four blocks.

Kaelinn Jozsa tacked on 14 points and two steals.

Oakridge (1-1) will host Ludington on Thursday for its home opener.

Holton (1-2) hosts Mason County Central on Thursday.
