MUSKEGON–The Oakridge Eagles boys’ basketball team got off to a slow start in the opening quarter, but turned up the intensity over the final three quarters on Tuesday night.

In the end, the Eagles outscored Holton by a wide margin in each of the final three quarters and earned a 65-28 victory over the Red Devils.

The Eagle defense was able to create numerous turnovers while the offensive rebounding created second-chance points.

Peyton Ruel led Oakridge with 19 points. Julian Plummer added 10 points and Matt Danicek had seven.

Carter Brant led Holton with 15 points. Brodrick Fialek had a strong game under the basket with 15 rebounds.
