Richards scores 40 in Calvary Christian win over Central Lake

MANISTEE–In the consolation game of the Manistee Catholic Central Christmas Tournament, Fruitport Calvary Christian fought off tired legs and steadily pulled away for a 72-49 win over the Central Lake Trojans.

Bradley Richards led the Eagles with 40 points, 15 rebounds and five steals. Quinn Swanson chipped in 12 points while Zach Mcfarren added six assists.

“We were pleased with the boys bouncing back from yesterday’s tough game and their intensity tonight and we are looking forward to next week” said Coach Brad Richards.

Calvary Christian (3-2) and will host undefeated Mason County Central on Tuesday, January 3.
