The game was played at Muskegon Catholic.

Holton jumped out to a 15-9 first-quarter lead and increased it to 31-15 at halftime. In the second half, the deficit grew as Holton led 41-26 at the end of the third quarter.

“Our goal was to get back to .500 this week and we accomplished that, but we didn’t play a complete game,” Holton coach Robert Jordan said. “Second half was sloppy and we were just going through the motions at times and didn’t have the energy we need to compete to our best abilities.

Carrie Ladd led the Crusaders with 17 points.

Holton (3-3, 1-2) will travel to Grant next Tuesday.

Muskegon Catholic (3-3, 0-1) hosts Orchard View next Tuesday.
