MUSKEGON — Anna Lundquist scored 19 points to lead the Oakridge girls’ basketball team to a 44-40 West Michigan Conference Lakes Division victory over visiting Manistee on Tuesday night.

The host Eagles managed to take a 7-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Chippewas came back with a 14-6 advantage in the second and vaulted into a 20-13 halftime lead.
 
Oakridge limited the Chippewas to just three points in the third quarter and took the lead back for good, 29-23. Manistee had a 16-15 edge in the final eight minutes.
 
Lundquist, who made four 3-point baskets, also cleared 15 rebounds and picked off four steals for the Eagles. Lily Blackburn contributed seven points, 10 rebounds and five steals. Cambria Guenthardt added six points.
 
Jayna Edmondson paced the Chippewas with 11 points, with two 3-pointers, while Abby Robinson contributed seven points. Grace Whitmer and Allison Kelley added five apiece.
 
Oakridge improved to 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference. The Eagles visit Ludington Friday night.

The Chippewas fell to 6-7 overall and 3-5 in the conference. Manistee is back in action at Orchard View for another conference game Friday night.
