Fremont sweeps Ravenna in bowling action

MUSKEGON – The Ravenna varsity bowling team was swept by Fremont on Wednesday evening.

The girls battled but fell short, 15.5-14.5 to move to 4-2 on the season.

Mae Mabrito led the Bulldogs with games of 131 and 173. Kendra Denhof had a 152 and 140 while Emma Herremans had a 127 and 141.

The boys lost, 21-9. The loss pushes them to 3-3.

Dylan Gordon rolled a series of 389, with a high game of 235. Vaughn Luce bowled 182 and 139.

Ravenna will be back at Northway Lanes on Wednesday to take on Oakridge.

Fremont will face off with Orchard View on Wednesday at Fremont Lanes.
