The Trojans fell behind early, trailing 13-2 at the end of the first quarter. The Hawkeyes expanded the lead to 23-9 at halftime. The second half was not much different as the Trojans trailed after the third quarter, 37-18.

“We had a hard time putting the ball in the basket tonight, a lot of credit goes to Hamilton,” said Fruitport coach Steve Erny.
