HART — Hart’s wrestling team went 5-0 and had five individuals go undefeated to win the Super Duals at Shelby on Saturday.
In pool play, the Pirates defeated Newaygo (75-3), Forest Hills Central (67-7) and Kent City (45-27) to advance to the championship round against Lakeview and Fremont.
The Pirates knocked off Fremont, 46-23, and Lakeview in the finals, 36-24, to bring home the trophy.
Finishing 5-0 for the Pirates were Trayce Tate at 132 pounds, Guillermo Ortega at 150, Alex Hicks at 157, Adrian Tice at 190 and Ivan Lare at 285.
Zane Thomas, a senior wrestler for the Pirates, achieved a milestone in surpassing 100 career wins.
