HART — Parker Hovey just keeps putting up the big numbers for Hart Pirates boys’ basketball team.

He had another triple double Friday night in an easy 65-20 victory over visiting Holton in the West Michigan Conference Rivers Division.

The Pirates established control right from the get-go, using a tenacious defense to keep the Red Devils’ from generating any offense. The Pirates led 23-6 lead after one.

It was more of the same in the second quarter, only worse for the Red Devils as the Pirates really blew the game open with a 16-0 advantage to take a 39-6 lead at the half. The Pirates led, 58-13 after three.

Although he saw limited minutes in the game, Hovey finished with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists as the Pirates move to 11-0 on the season.
