LUDINGTON – The Ludington bowling teams split against Orchard View on Monday. 

The boys fell 28-2.

Dominic Reamer led with games of 177 and 135 while Cameron Fetters threw games of 160 and 145.

Damion Ott added games of 150 and 153.

“Regardless of what the points say, my boys bowled very well tonight,” said coach Maggie Bates. “They were consistent in their scores and it showed in their team totals of a 692 and a 668.”

The girls’ squad rolled by the Cardinals 27-3 and recorded team totals of 578 and 633.

Elicia Byrd had a good night and led with games of 175 and 145. Rylee Hardenbaugh bowled games of 134 and 124.

Karley Gokey rolled a 132.

“First meet after a break can always be hard, but both teams came out throwing today and I’m proud of the way that they bowled,” Bates said. “I’m excited to see where the second half of the season goes and I’m looking for great gains on both sides.”

Ludington will face Montague at Sherman Bowling Center on Wednesday.
