MUSKEGON — Mona Shores scored one goal in each of the three periods on Friday night and defeated East Grand Rapids in high school hockey.

Oliver McDonald posted the shutout in net for the Sailors.

The Sailors opened the scoring at 8:11 of the opening period on a goal by Jack Reelman. Brooks Robinson and Nathan McNarland drew the assists.

In the second period, Shores made it 2-0 on a goal by Ethan Ring. That red lighter was set up by Zach Leibrandt and Robinson.  That goal came at 13:25 of the middle period.

Robinson finished the game with one goal and two assists. Reelman had a goal and an assist.

An empty-net goal by Robinson, assisted by Reelman, capped the scoring at 15:44 of the final period.
